School commerce

Cashless Schools

Parent-funded student wallets, tuckshop and store POS, student credentials, and bursar reporting in one school commerce layer.

Rollout view

How a school rollout is phased

A school rollout maps outlets, credentials and reporting first, then phases live trading. See how Allxs implementation works for the discovery, setup, onboarding and launch-support steps.

  1. Stage 1

    Map the school model

Agree campuses, outlets, student credentials, top-up methods, approved spend categories and the reporting the bursar needs.

  2. Stage 2

    Configure wallets and POS

Set wallet rules, credentials and connected tills for the first outlets — usually tuckshop or canteen — before adding stores or events.

  3. Stage 3

    Launch and review reporting

Parents top up, students pay at live outlets, and school teams use one reporting picture. Further outlets can be added after the first live period.

Overview

Principals, bursars, administrators and canteen managers use one school commerce layer: parents fund a student wallet, students pay with a card, QR or NFC credential at connected POS, and the school records that spend for reporting.

Problem to solve

Many schools still split tuckshop payments, student cards, school events, uniform shops and parent collections across disconnected tools. That creates more cash handling, more admin and less visibility for school leadership and families.

The school operating model

Allxs school commerce connects six parts: a parent-funded student wallet, digital top-up, a student credential (card, QR or NFC/RFID), connected tuckshop and store POS, parent and bursar visibility on balances and purchases, and school reporting. Meal ordering, click-and-collect and vouchers sit on the same layer where the school uses them.

Support more than tuckshop spend

The same layer can cover canteens, tuckshops, uniform shops, stationery, school trips, clubs, fundraising drives, school events, QR check-ins, ticketing and approved school-store purchases instead of a different process for each one.

Bursar control and reporting

Schools can apply spending limits, approved categories, payment requests, reminders and voucher rules. Finance teams review wallet top-ups, POS sales, bank-card payments, event revenue, voucher redemptions, stock movement and reconciliation in one reporting layer.

Parent top-up and student wallet

Parents and guardians fund a student wallet through mobile or web instead of sending cash to school. They can see balances, top-ups, payment confirmations and school-related purchase history. The school keeps control of approved spend.

Tuckshop, canteen and POS spend

Students pay at connected POS with the wallet behind their QR, NFC or RFID-linked credential. Meal ordering and click-and-collect are available where the canteen model needs them. Daily food-service trading stays in the same school reporting picture.

School login is issued by the school

This page is the school product offering, not the login page. Schools issue Allxs access to their own community. Parents and students should use the link their school gave them. The Allxs school login page is support only: WhatsApp, email and contact. This site does not publish school portal addresses.

School events, stores and fundraising

The same commerce model extends to school events, functions, trips, uniform and stationery shops, clubs and fundraising. Schools can sell tickets, take approved payments, run QR check-ins and track event revenue without a separate system for each activity.

How Allxs differs from a payment link or QR-only setup

A payment link or QR-only tool can accept a payment. It usually does not manage student wallets, approved spend rules, tuckshop POS, school stores, events, vouchers and school-wide reconciliation together. Allxs is a South African cashless commerce platform for controlled payment environments.

Planning a school rollout

Map campuses, outlets, student credentials, approved spend categories, top-up methods and the reporting the school needs, then phase in tuckshops, stores and events. How Allxs implementation works covers discovery, configuration, onboarding, launch support and reporting. It does not publish contractual timelines or service levels.

Reporting and control

  • Reduce the amount of cash moving around the campus while keeping school-led controls on where and how value can be spent.
  • See top-ups, wallet balances, school-store sales, meal purchases, payment requests, rewards, ticketing and vouchers in one reporting view.
  • Give school leadership, bursars and operations teams a clearer picture of revenue, stock, parent activity and reconciled school trading.

How it works

A clear workflow from setup to daily operations.

  1. 01

    Parent funds the wallet

A parent or guardian tops up the student wallet digitally. The school can apply approved spend categories before that value is used on campus.

  2. 02

    Student receives a credential

The student uses a wallet-backed card, QR code or NFC/RFID-linked identifier at school service points.

  3. 03

    Pay at the outlet

Tuckshops, canteens, stores and other connected school outlets take the payment at POS. Meal ordering or click-and-collect can sit on the same wallet where the school uses them.

  4. 04

    Transaction is recorded

The sale, top-up or redemption is captured against the wallet and outlet rather than as a separate cash count.

  5. 05

    School reviews reporting

Bursars and operators review top-ups, POS sales, stock, vouchers and reconciled totals from one reporting layer.

FAQ

Common questions from buyers evaluating this use case.

What is the Allxs school operating model?

Parents top up a student wallet. The student pays at a tuckshop, store or other school outlet with a wallet-backed card, QR or NFC credential. The transaction is recorded at POS and appears in school reporting.

Can parents top up a student wallet, and how do students pay?

Parents can top up a student wallet digitally through mobile or web. Students then pay at school service points using wallet-backed QR, NFC or RFID-linked credentials, so there is less need to carry cash on campus.

Can parents control how wallet funds are used?

Yes. Wallet value can be shaped around approved school spending categories, student needs and operational rules set by the school.

How do parents and students sign in to Allxs?

The school issues Allxs access. Use the link your school gave you. If you need help, the Allxs school login page has WhatsApp, email and contact options. This product page is not a login directory and does not publish school portal addresses.

How does Allxs help with reporting and reconciliation for schools?

The platform gives schools a view of top-ups, POS sales, school-event trading, vouchers, payment requests and operational trends without depending on manual cash-based reconciliation.

Can Allxs support school events, ticketing and QR check-ins as well as canteen payments?

Yes. The same school-wide commerce model can cover everyday canteen spend, school stores, events, ticketing, QR check-ins, trips and fundraising without switching systems.

Is Allxs just a payment link, or a full school commerce platform?

Allxs is a school commerce platform, not a single payment link. It connects parent top-ups, student wallets, canteen and tuckshop POS, school stores, events, vouchers and reporting so school payments work as one controlled model rather than separate tools.

What does a school need to prepare before an Allxs rollout?

Schools typically decide on campuses and outlets, student credentials, approved spend categories, top-up methods and the reporting they need before launch. How Allxs implementation works explains discovery, setup, onboarding, launch support and reporting. It does not publish contractual timelines or service levels.
