Payment acceptance

Cashless Payments

Accept card, QR, NFC, RFID-linked and wallet-backed payments online and in person, then record them with POS and reporting.

What it does

This module accepts payment methods at the moment of purchase: bank cards, QR, NFC, RFID-linked credentials and wallet-backed spend. It covers online and in-person acceptance. It does not hold stored balances, and it is not the till itself.

Problem it solves

Service points still take cash, or they accept a card in a tool that never writes the sale into the same wallet, POS and reporting picture. Operators then reconstruct what was paid from a separate device or export.

Capabilities

Card payments

Accept bank cards at connected service points and online checkout without naming a specific bank, scheme or gateway on this page.

QR, NFC and RFID

Accept QR, NFC and RFID-linked payments where those credentials are already part of the environment.

Wallet-backed spend

Take payment from a stored wallet balance at the same acceptance point used for cards and credentials.

Online and in person

Use the same acceptance model on web or mobile checkout and at a physical service point.

Workflow

Step 1

Present a method

The payer presents a card, QR, NFC or RFID credential, or spends from a wallet.

Step 2

Accept the payment

The service point or online checkout accepts that method as part of the sale or order.

Step 3

Record the result

The accepted payment sits with the POS sale or ecommerce order so reporting can show how value moved.

Operators

Outlet staff, event vendors and canteen teams take payment without running a separate cash process. Finance later sees the accepted method on the same sale record.

People using it

A parent, student, attendee or employee pays with a card, credential or wallet instead of cash.

Environments

  • School store and tuckshop counters taking card, QR or wallet-backed payment
  • Event stall and vendor points accepting credential or card payments during trading
  • Canteen tills collecting payment at the service window

What to evaluate in a demo

  • Which methods will this environment actually present: card, QR, NFC, RFID or wallet-backed spend?
  • Will the same acceptance model be used online and at the counter?
  • Where does each accepted payment appear in POS and reporting?
  • What is out of scope here: stored balances, till hardware, and named banks or gateways.

Connects with

Cloud POS

Most in-person acceptance happens on a till, not on a standalone card device.

Digital Wallets

Wallet-backed spend uses a stored balance; this module only accepts that value.

FAQ

Is cashless payments the same as a digital wallet?

No. This module accepts payment methods. A wallet stores value before the purchase and applies spend rules.

Is this the same as Cloud POS?

No. POS is the checkout the operator uses to select products and complete a sale. Payments are the methods that sale can accept.
