Operator checkout
Run operator checkout: select products, connect a payment, redeem a wallet or voucher, record the sale, and review outlet trading.
What it does
Cloud POS is the till used by staff. An operator selects products, connects a payment method, redeems a wallet or voucher, and records the sale. Where an outlet already records stock movement, that movement can sit with the same sale. This page does not describe offline trading.
Problem it solves
Counters run on a till that cannot see wallet balances or vouchers, or they write sales that never reach outlet reporting. Peak trading then depends on cash, paper notes or a second device.
Build a sale from the products or menu items the outlet is trading.
Attach card, QR, NFC, RFID-linked or wallet-backed payment to that sale.
Apply stored balances or issued value during checkout instead of a side process.
Keep the completed sale on the outlet record used for later reporting.
If the outlet records stock movement, that activity can follow the sale. This is not a standalone inventory product.
Step 1
Staff start a checkout at a tuckshop, canteen till, event stall or other connected outlet.
Step 2
They select products, take a payment or redeem a wallet or voucher, then complete the sale.
Step 3
The sale, and stock movement where it is recorded, is available for outlet and operator reporting.
Till staff complete walk-up sales. Outlet or event managers review what each counter sold.
The person at the counter pays or redeems value. They do not configure the till.
The till needs an acceptance method; it is not itself a payment method.
Staff redeem a stored balance on the sale instead of taking cash.
Issued value is applied on the same checkout as ordinary products.
Outlet sales are one of the records finance and operators later review.
